Visitors come from across the world to see Oxford’s architecture and the 38 colleges which make up Oxford University.
But there is more to Oxford than the University, with a wide variety of shopping, theatres, art galleries, museums and entertainment.
The Radcliffe Camera (pictured) is one of the most distinctive buildings in the city. The Radcliffe Camera (the word Camera just means “room”) functions as the main reading room of the Bodleian Library.
Boating on Oxford's rivers is a popular activity, and a picnic while punting is a great way to spend a summers day. The experienced punters make it look easy, but the novice may find it harder than expected!
The beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds is only a short drive. Some of the towns are popular with tourists and locals, but it is also easy to find a quiet spot to walk or simply enjoy the area.
